My Friday night has magically opened up.....first, Rachel was invited to a sleepover birthday party. Then, Tyler told us that he'd been invited to hang out and a football friend's house and stay the night. Anna was the next to receive a phone call from one of her friends to stay the night. Katie has tennis camp until 8 pm and was thrilled to have the house to herself to have a bunch of friends over without adoring little sisters who try to tag along.
So what will Jay and I do? I'd love to say we'll go to a romantic dinner, but we'll probably just end up going to Costco. Maybe I can squeeze in a showing of Sherlock Holmes......

ReplyDeleteI love the word serendipity too. Love the movie and totally want to eat frozen hot chocolate there too. It's on my list. :-)
I also want to taste this frozen hot chocolate that everyone keeps talking about. One of my friends was just in NYC over the holidays and posted a picture on fb of Serendipity and a sign saying there was a 3 hour wait!!! Wow!!! Must be some good stuff!

ReplyDeleteCindy ~ we saw Sherlock on Christmas but Anna had a sick stomach and so we missed about 25 minutes right in the middle of the movie. I've been dying to see it again, but by the time Jay and I finished with dinner, it was too late to go to the movies or Costco and get back and pick up Anna at ten as she wasn't able to spend the night after all. Oh well....
