The GIRLS and I

decided to once again try letterboxing, or geocaching with clues instead of latitude/longitude coordinates. (Thanks Tammy for the suggestion) So I went to this letterboxing website and found a few easy hunts. We were excited to have an addition to our party....Stephanie! The first was fairly easy, but as it was in the library, we had to be quiet and stealthy......

Once we located the box, we had to stamp the paper in the box with our stamp and then got to use the stamp in the box to stamp our books.

The ink from the inkpad may have taken awhile to dry......

We just couldn't resist......

On to the Harry Potter themed hunt.....a tribute to the Boy who lived. Accio letterbox! Oh.....if only it were that easy!

Sssshhh.....Professor Snape might catch us

Forming a circle of trust before continuing....

We found Harry's hiding place!!!

And Harry!!

On the way back across the Quidditch pitch, we found these......pretty amazing huh? The best part was that in our haste to rush forward and check out the gates, we totally interrupted a couple snogging in the courtyard. Oooops! On our clues sheet, it even warned us to watch out for snogging couples. Who knew how right on that warning would be? Haha!

We can hardly wait to plan the next adventure.......and possibly hide a letterbox of our own. Hmmmmm......a Twilight themed one perhaps?
