Blah Blah Blog

Today was a busy day from the get go and I was super tired to boot. Jay and I have been watching Chuck season 2 on DVD (on loan from one of the best teachers ever!!) and we got hooked into watching it into the wee hours of the morning. In the middle of the last episode we watched last night, I realized that I had early piano lessons that I needed to be up and ready for.....ooops.

I soldiered on through the day (with a little help from Diet Cherry Coke), made it through piano, shoved down...I mean quickly ate, a delicious dinner made by Katie and went and saw one of the funniest movies I've ever seen. It was released in 1942 and is called "To Be or Not to Be" starring Jack Benny. Everyone in the theater was laughing out loud. Thanks to Nancy for picking me up! And thanks to Steph for one fabulously awesome necklace!!

When I got home, I was able to catch American Idol and snuggle between my two little girls while we watched people cry, sing, cheer, bomb (and there were some SUPER flat and off key people) and celebrate.

After getting the girls to bed and talking to Katie about job opportunities, and proof reading Tyler's essay, Jay and I watched......wait for it.....I bet you can't guess....Chuck. Two episodes actually.

I'm still up even though I have promised the girls to take them to breakfast in the am before school. They are excited. I used to do this on occasion with Katie and Tyler and have fond memories of our "surprise" breakfasts.

Tomorrow (today) is our Enrichment, or the meeting formerly known as Enrichment. Set up begins at 9am sharp. Our theme is PJS ~ a pajama party. I'm thinking it's going to be pretty fun.....we shall see.

All in all, it was an amazing day! Hopefully tomorrow (today) will be too and if I need a little help from Diet Cherry Coke again, so be it.

  1. The movie was funny and I enjoyed your company! Stay awake today, in the pj party you might get away with curling up in a corner and going to sleep. They might think your part of the decorations!!
