Katie returns the ball in a match against McKay that was eventually won by Katie and her doubles partner Ashley ~ Go Saxons!
Katie returns the ball in a match against Redmond that was well fought but resulted in a loss. Katie and Ashley ended the season with 8 wins and 4 losses....considering their previous record of 1-11, I'd say the 2010 season was very successful!

Katie has always said to me, "don't come to my matches because it makes me nervous." And I've (mostly) respected that this year but I couldn't stay away the entire season, so I asked permission to attend and take a few pictures. So proud of all these girls!! Tennis districts are this week ~ good luck Saxons!!

Way to go Katie! I can not hit a tennis ball for the life of me. What an awesome way to end her tennis in High School.

ReplyDeleteThose are awesome pictures! both my girls play tennis, I wish I did! Brooke is getting ready this summer to take it up a notch..at least her dad hopes so!
ReplyDeleteI am surprised that she does not like you to come watch...that is very special that she is comfortable telling you that! So many kids would be afraid that they would hurt the parents feeling...shows your a great mom!
