It's FRIDAY and the living is

easy! It's especially easy after a day like yesterday! Now don't get me wrong, I love staying busy, but when everything seems to happen on the same day, well......it can be slightly daunting. I made it through my super busy Thursday with the help of some pretty awesome people!

I started the day off yesterday setting up for our RS meeting (formerly known as Enrichment) and we decorated for a few hours. The tables and decor turned out so stinkin' cute! If you have a Cricut, you absolutely MUST purchase Create a Critter!! Our theme was "Tasting the Sweetness of Service" and being industrious like bees in doing service for others. We did four projects ~ we made quote books, colored preschool games, made car safety kits and put together 28 hygiene kits to donate to the Union Gospel Mission. It was a great night! As usual, I forgot to take pictures of the whole night, but I did manage to snap a picture of the fabulous centerpieces.

After setting up for the party, I headed up to Lee Elementary to emcee the awards assembly. I guess I have a loud voice or something......

Anyway, the top 12 money earners got to duct tape the PE teacher Mr. T(immerman) to the wall. Here's the fruit of their labors.......

Looks like he was attacked by Spiderman. He stayed on the wall for about 5 seconds before he did a stunt man crash on the mat below. The kids loved it!

After the assembly, I made my salads for the RS party and headed back to church to do the final set up. The dinner was great, but I had to rush back to the school for Anna's big concert....Lee Elementary presents "A Night on Broadway." Anna was a chimney sweep and did a great job!

After I watched Anna sing, I was hurrying back to the church and as I was walking down the grassy hill from the school, I hit a patch of slippery clover and my feet flew out from under me and I fell down hard. Ouch! I quickly looked around to make sure no one had seen me and fortunately no one was that I could see anyway. My pride suffered no further hits as I went home to change out of my grass stained attire and headed back to the church.

All in all, it was a great day! (Although I could've done without the humiliating falling part.) Thanks to all who came and supported our RS meeting!

So....back to Friday. I'm taking it easy. No more grassy hill walks. Just a traditional birthday lunch with my friend Debie.

It's Friday and the living is easy......
