This week it's all about

Katie!!

Last night, South Salem High School held it's Honor Awards Recognition Night. Katie floors me with what she is capable of ~ she's effortlessly intelligent. She's never been one to brag or come off as a "know it all," but rather, completes all of her projects with quiet ease.

Last night at the awards assembly, she received recognition in three areas. She received an award for having an Honor Roll GPA throughout her junior and senior years. She also received an award for being on the Honor Roll for 6 straight semesters. Lastly, she was given a cord to wear at graduation for being on the Honor Roll for 7 straight semesters. What they don't distinguish or mention though, is that she has maintained this GPA while taking the hardest IB classes offered at South. While many seniors have release time, she still has a full schedule of classes. I stand in awe of my daughter!

Katie, we are all so proud of you!! Tonight is her last New Beginnings for YW. I'm so happy for the opportunity to celebrate a week of Katie!
