decided to try Glee the television show, I loved Glee music! I've downloaded quite a bit of it since the show came out. These songs just resonate within me ~ I love a good harmony!! Possibly it's because I was in choir in high school. We had an amazing member of our choir (not to toot our own horn ~ we were all pretty talented) but this girl could do most anything musical. Every year, my school had a Pops concert in May. This girl would arrange several songs for our choir to perform. We were able to sing choral arrangements of Hip to Be Square by Huey Lewis, several songs by the Nylons and a few others that I can't recall. The Pops concert was defintely my favorite one every year. I guess I was a "gleek" even then!
For whatever reason, choral arrangements of popular songs just give me goosebumps. I love the many harmonies that a choral arrangement ~ many more than the original song. They are so fun to listen to and also to perform. I absolutely loved the songs in last week's show! My Glee playlist continues to grow!
I can hardly wait to see and hear more from Idina Menzel!!

I haven't watched Glee yet, but I think I will start now. I always loved choir too. And, any song I can sing along to. Thanks for the recommendation!

Glee is one of my all time fav shows! I have watched it since episode one and every time I smile through the whole episode.

Glee is THE BEST. Love love love that show. The Madonna Show this past week was so fantastic. I am always happy when I'm watching Glee! It's a happy little show.
