Rachel has wanted to own a few fish for quite some time. For Christmas, Santa brought her an aquarium and some money to purchase some fish. She was so excited and quickly became attached to her pets. Three of the fish did not made it, but one fish has/had been with her since Christmas....Juliet. Juliet seemed to defy the odds.....until last Monday when.....
Unfortunately, poor Juliet succumbed to illness. I had a very sad girl on my hands. Click here to watch the eulogy of Juliet as done by Rachel. Like the post title suggests, this is a dramatic experience. You will laugh....you will cry....you will ignore the mom speaking in the background and the grammatical errors she makes.
When Rachel watched it again this morning, she cried once more....my heart aches for her pain. Dumb fish!
**Oh....and DON'T turn up your speakers too much** You have been warned.
OHHHH Poor Rachael!! If it makes her feel better Jayna lost her Hamster last week!
ReplyDeleteOH, poor Rachel! Yes, I laughed and I cried. "I hate the ick" :-(
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness was that super funny (until the end when Juliet got flushed and Rachel cried - I'm so sorry Rachel).
ReplyDeleteI love Rachel's hatred of the ICK and her demonstration on how Juliet was floating. I also like how while you're consoling her you focus in on the toilet and how hard you were trying not to giggle.
I love your family. You guys rock.
Rachel, I truly am sorry about the loss of Juliet.
Rachel, Juliet is now in fishy heaven and she will always remember how much you cared for her. You gave her a great sendoff. I hope you will be able to find a "hardy" fish that will outlive the odds.
ReplyDeletesuper sad!!! =( And exactly why I am afraid of getting my kids animals...I'm not the best at keeping them alive. give Rachel a big hug!
ReplyDeleteYou were right... I laughed and I cried. Tell Rachel I hate ICK too. Loved how she demonstrated that Juliet was swimming sideways - until the ICK ate her fins and she died. So, sad when you flushed Juliet and Rachel cried so hard. I remember those Fishy Funerals when I was young. So sad. :-(
