I've decided to

reread the entire Harry Potter series.....yes for about the 4th time I believe, maybe the 5th. Anyway, that's not what's important here.

Ahem...as I was saying before I so rudely interrupted myself, I am very excited to give this series another read. It is probably one of the most well-tied together series I've ever read. Kudos to JK Rowling for such a fabulous idea, presenting it so well and for making me laugh out loud even in subsequent readings. For example, as Professor Dumbledore stands to give his opening speech, he announces that he has a few words to say at the opening of the term. He then proceeds to say "Welcome to a new year at Hogwarts! Before we begin our banquet, I would like to say a few words. And here they are: Nitwit! Blubber! Oddment! Tweak!" And then he sits down. That alone makes me love that character ~ you can't go wrong with a quirky sense of humor! Book one down.....six more to go!
