whether I'm alone or in a group. This is my new motto. I thought of it last week and the more I repeated it to myself, the more I absolutely loved it!
This motto allows me to give myself permission to laugh at things I might not normally find humor in.
This motto reminds me that even in a group, I am responsible for my own happiness.
This motto encourages me to not wait for others to have fun, but that I myself, am in charge of what I do or get involved in.
This motto makes me feel happy about being me.
This motto helps me to remember that it is my responsibility to let go of negativity, be gracious and smile.
This motto reminds me that, even alone, I can have a good time.
This motto helps me to realize that if I'm not happy with who I am alone, then I won't be happy with who I am in a group.
So......I'm off to "make my own fun." I hope all of you have a fabulous day!
Happy Graduation to Katie!
ReplyDeleteMy mom used to tell us (some of us would complain...) as we left for church or wouldn't get ready that we could go to church happy or we could go to church sad and it was up to us which one we were. That's my motto with my kids. Decide to be happy and have fun and I bet you'll be able to more often. =)
I need to borrow your new motto. Love it.
