I took this picture on the top of the Spanish Steps in Rome on New Years Day 2006. There were three artists at the top of the steps. We got in line and his chair became available first which was luck as he was the best! We wanted to have all of our kids drawn, but Tyler didn't want to and the girls were too fidgety. This picture hangs in my living room now and is a great reminder of my Katie as a 13 year old, just starting to make the transition into a young woman. What a fun memory! Love you Katie!Tuesday, September 28, 2010

Beautiful! What a treasure. I feel so bad we didn't get to spend any time at the Spanish Steps. Can a person really go to Rome and miss this? MUST go back. I love this picture of Katie.
