I wish I'd been able to volunteer, but apparently there were 5,000 applications for 1,500 volunteer positions and we were in Utah taking a special person to college when the call went out for volunteers. Katie, you are/were worth it! The episode will air on October 31st ~ as they are making over the haunted house, this is an appropriate air date! Don't forget to set your DVR!
While we were there, a person near us who works at Sears, told us that it took cashiers 3 1/2 hours to ring up all the merchandise purchased for the makeover at a whopping total of over $16,000....wow!

ReplyDeletethey still needed volunteers! People were cancelling and they kept putting out calls for more volunteers. Oh well, maybe next time, right?!
