Seemingly overnight, my "tweenager" Anna has become fairly obsessed with all things Bieber. She's downloaded Bieber apps onto my phone (with my permission of course, as long as they're free and don't take up much space), used the iTunes card she got for her birthday to download all of his music that she didn't already have and has watched him on YouTube. I had a fun time on our mom/daughter date to see Never Say Never! It was so enjoyable to spend time with Anna and watch the movie through her excited eyes. When a spontaneous and rousing singing of "Baby" started, it was hard not to join in.While as a mom, I'm sad at the sudden transition from little girl to tween, I also remember a little girl named Kim who had several Shaun Cassidy shirts, LP records of Da Doo Ron Ron, a letter from the Shaun Cassidy fan club and posters.......
Jay just shakes his head and rolls his eyes (in an affectionate way, of course). Oh the power of your first celebrity crush. I do hope that Justin ages better than Mr. Cassidy.
