I am a fan

of Disneyland on facebook. Every day, a question is posted regarding the park. What's your favorite restaurant, spot or ride are questions I've seen listed in the last few days. Usually I read the question and think about it. Occasionally I respond. Today's post caught my eye. It was....."Describe your perfect day in Disneyland."

My mind immediately started thinking about what my perfect day at Disneyland would entail. As I little girl, I dreamed of stepping through the gates and hearing bells and whistles announce that I was a milestone guest....one millionth, or billionth or even trillionth.....and that I would win lifetime family passes. Yes, I dream big but oh how fun that would be!!

As I read through other people's responses, a common theme emerged.....no lines. Wouldn't that be fun? I'd even take minimal lines, though since my brother-in-law taught us how to work the fastpass system, that's been much more manageable. Thanks Eric! Many people also wanted to see the inside of rides. I think this would be interesting, but also take away some of the magic. I'd love to see the inside of Club 33 or have front row seats to Fantasmic and World of Color! And of course, I'd love a picture with my two favorite characters Chip and Dale. I have pictures with both, but not together.

But I couldn't imagine doing anything on my dream day without my hubby and kids by my side. That's the real magic ~ watching others' joy! And I can receive that joy no matter where we are or what we do.

So what would you do on YOUR dream day? It doesn't have to be at a theme park. Whatever and wherever it is, I hope it's magical!
