Lovebirds

Last Sunday, December 27th, Jay and I celebrated 19 years of marriage. I got a funny message from a good friend that some "love birds" were on my front porch to wish us a Happy Anniversary. Here's what I found.....

Earlier in the year, this particular friend recieved a gourd bird at her 40th birthday party. This creation made several of us laugh and in fact, we have been chuckling and joking about gourd birds ever since. I had planned on making a gourd bird and surprising a couple of people with them, but was beaten to the punch.

So thank you Kari for giving me a laugh on my anniversary! I have to say, the gourd birds you made were WAY cuter than the other ones. You're so crafty!

And thank you JAY for 19 great years!! Next year, Hawaii?

    wait, is this MY Kari!?!? Super creative! Now you just need a vomiting pumpkin and you'll be all set. You'll have to search my blog for the word pumpkin in order to see what I mean - or look at Oct 30th 2008.
