TRICK OR TREAT.......

The girls were so excited to get into their costumes.....Rachel was a great Ginny Weasley, Quidditch player. She posed for me as if flying, grabbing the snitch, and the Quidditch pre-game pose of standing with broom. She was frustrated because several people called her Harry Potter. She said to me "I'm a girl! Don't people realize that?" Oh....non-fanatic Harry Potter people and their ignorance. *rolls eyes*

Anna spent an hour in hair and makeup with Katie to transform into superstar Taylor Swift. What a great big sis Katie is! Anna had several requests all night to sing various songs, but she politely refused saying that the night air wasn't good for her voice.

Jay rolled his eyes at me upon hearing my costume idea, but with a little begging, he consented "as long as I didn't make him look stupid." As soon as he saw the sparkly makeup on his face, he allowed me to continue transforming him into Edward. He got a lot of compliments from the ladies we encountered.....back off girls ~ he's mine!

All in all, Halloween 2009 was super fun! Special thanks go out to the Haws for letting us borrow their Nimbus 2000 and to Stephanie Young for envisioning and sewing the Quidditch robe ~ you are very talented! I love your motto "Every girl needs to have the costume she wants for Halloween" (or something to that effect anyway ~ haha)
