....after I have missed several opportunities for various reasons (ahem ~ chickened out.) I was determined to approach someone I didn't know at Tyler's football game. We were sitting up against the box at the top of the bleachers behind a couple. The woman had beautiful (Victoria) hair and I kept thinking, "just ask her." Then, I'd lose my nerve. Finally, I thought, "you're being ridiculous Kim....what's the worst she can say?" So, I asked her and she was totally fine with it. Actually, it turned out to be a mom of one of Tyler's friends, so that was a nice bonus.

This is Tina Powell. I love her hair! Her son Kyle is number 82 on the Saxons JV football team. One interesting thing that she does is ride for Motorcycle Ministries which, among other things, raises money for domestic violence advocacy and human trafficking. She was born and raised in Salem. Tina was a very nice person and after I was done interviewing her, I thought I should ask her what kind of bike she rode (just for you Laura) and she rides a 65 Harley Panhead.
Now that I've taken the plunge, hopefully the next one will be easier!
what was this for? a goal of some kind?
ReplyDeleteA few of my friends and I wanted to do a photography challenge and one of them found a website that listed different ideas. One of the ideas was 100 Strangers in 100 Days, so we decided to modify it into a shorter challenge with choosing the number that worked for each person. It was scary to ask, but a lot of fun too.
ReplyDeleteFun post Kim!
