I'm PROUD to be

an American.....

I cannot hear the Star Spangled Banner without feeling emotional. I'm thankful for the freedom I experience as an American. I'm proud of my Grandpa, George Lamphiear, who was a WWII veteran. As he was buried in Willamette National Cemetery in February 2008, I was sobered by the almost innumerable amount of people that are buried there.....people who served The United States of America in some way. To these people, and all other Veterans, living or deceased, I express my utmost gratitude!
