Knowing......to see or not to see

This movie had promise and potential, but alas fell victim to hokey movie cliches....an audible audience groan was heard throughout the theater at the climax of the movie. Nicolas Cage is an A-lister....what was he thinking? When you're an A-lister, can't you demand better writers or something? If I were him, I'd have read the script and when I was 2/3 of the way through, ripped out the ending, stomped and spit on it before demanding a rewrite...IMMEDIATELY!! (And NOT from the writers who wrote "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull") And were the test audiences given complimentary weed before viewing? "Dude...that was a good movie...Hey! Where's my cheetos?"

If it weren't for the chocolate and the awesome friends, Sarah and Steph, and the fact that I only paid $1.50 to see this movie, the night would've been a loss. Thank goodness for friends and chocolate!

Don't waste your money on this movie....if you do, you'll be the son of a pastor! (One POSITIVE thing from this movie is that the dialogue was so bad at times that it was laugh out loud funny.....which we did.....bunches of times.....to the annoyance of those "serious" fans that surrounded us) Chillax people....more hokey movies are coming soon to a theater near you....in the meantime, eat some cheetos!

  1. A girls night out with laughs and chocolate is almost worth seeing a silly movie. Too bad you expected it to be good...

  2. Freakin' hilarious Kim!!!! Love your use of the word "Chillax"! It was a fun night even though the movie was terrible. I had fun telling Mike the horrible story line of the movie. Thanks for another fun night!

  3. It was fun. I didn't think the movie was THAT bad.... if a few things were done differently with the ending it would have been better. And for the dialogue... I think the writers were trying to make him seem awkward their dialogue, but instead they ended up with bad dialogue.

    You're post is hilarious!

  4. I probably did go a BIT overboard....but I was on a diet coke high. It was more fun to laugh at the goofy parts with you guys! I just wish the end would've been different....the premise had so much potential.
