What a fighter!

As some of you know, Jay's dad was diagnosed with congestive heart failure last week due to age and the effects of two rounds of chemotherapy several years ago. What a fighter he is! We had the opportunity to make a quick trip up to Yakima, WA and visit him over the weekend. He seemed in really good spirits, especially for someone who had been in the hospital from last Sunday to Wednesday. His appetite had returned and he was able to walk without having to stop every few steps to catch his breath. We find out today (or should anyway) what the next step is....so keep Jay's dad Lee in your thoughts and prayers if you would.

    I'm so sorry to hear that! It's really aweful to watch your parents suffer. Hope he gets to feeling better soon.

    He will absolutely be in my prayers. You and Jay too. Watching your parents getting older and going through health problems is really difficult. Hang in there!
